Let’s Talk It Out!

Privacy Policy

How BMH collects, uses, and protects the information you share through this website.

Who we are

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for https://bmhmindandbody.com. It applies solely to information collected by this website, and will notify you of the following: what personally identifiable information is collected from you, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared; what choices are available to you regarding the use of your data; the security procedures in place to protect against the misuse of your information; and how you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information collection, use, and sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to, and collect, information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us, and we will not share it with any third party outside our organization other than as necessary to fulfill your request for service. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about services, important announcements, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your access to and control over information

You may opt out of any future contact from us at any time by emailing info@bmhmindandbody.com.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, that information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect personal or sensitive information, it is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS — you can verify this by looking for a lock icon and “https” at the beginning of the page address. We also protect your information offline: anyone working with us to fulfill our services must adhere to our privacy policies, and access to personally identifiable information is limited to those who need it.

If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, please contact us immediately by telephone at (718) 363-0100 or by email at info@bmhmindandbody.com.

Text messaging (SMS/MMS)

Information we collect

When you opt in to receive text messages from us — for example, by checking the SMS consent box on our contact or referral form (the BMH Consulting texting program) — we collect your mobile phone number, your explicit consent to receive text messages (including the date and time of that consent), and the content of the messages sent and received.

How we use this information

We use information from our text-messaging service solely to send the appointment, account, or service messages you have opted in to receive; to provide support and respond to your HELP requests; to manage your opt-out (STOP) preferences; and to keep records required by federal and carrier regulations governing text messaging (such as the TCPA and 10DLC).

Sharing of your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — including your mobile phone number — to any third party for their marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We may share information only with trusted service providers that help us operate the texting service (for example, an SMS platform provider), or where required by law; such providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and secure.

Your choices (opt-out)

You can revoke your consent to receive text messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts — you will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP to any message for assistance. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You may also email us at info@bmhmindandbody.com at any time.
